The Uppingham Mobile Commode is a versatile, attendant-propelled shower chair designed to provide comfort, safety, and convenience for users with limited mobility. Its design allows users to be wheeled directly between the toilet and shower, reducing the number of transfers required and minimizing the risks associated with moving and handling.

Constructed from a rigid steel frame coated with hard-wearing, peel-resistant, and anti-corrosive thermoplastic, the Uppingham Commode offers long-lasting durability in demanding care environments. The chair features a polyurethane moulded seat, backrest, overseat, and armrests, providing padded comfort for the user throughout use. A front seat cut-out ensures easier access for personal hygiene.

The armrests tilt up to allow simple lateral transfers, while the push-handle and four braked, non-corroding nylon castors (12.5 cm / 4.9″) give carers full control for easy manoeuvring and secure positioning. The footrest clips onto the frame and can be retracted under the seat when not in use, allowing easier transfers and better carer access, then quickly extended when required.
