Marketing communications
If you subscribe to our updates or request information, we may contact you about relevant Oras Medical products, educational events and services. We may also contact relevant business professionals where permitted by the UK rules on electronic marketing and data protection.
Every marketing email will explain how to opt out. You can also object to direct marketing at any time by emailing admin@orasmedical.com. We will keep the minimum information needed to honour your objection.
Cookies and advertising
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies needed for the site to function, as well as analytics or advertising technologies where enabled. Where the law requires consent, we will ask before using optional technologies and provide a way to change your choice.
Our cookie controls should identify the optional services actually in use, their purposes and providers. Please refer to [insert link to your cookie settings or cookie policy] for details. Browser settings may also let you manage cookies, but blocking necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
Who we share information with
We share information only where needed for the purposes described in this policy. Recipients may include website and hosting providers, our online store and payment providers, delivery services, manufacturers and warranty providers, webinar and communications platforms, CRM and marketing providers, professional advisers, and authorities where disclosure is legally required.
Where an independent finance provider offers a payment option, its own privacy notice will explain how it handles an application. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. When a transfer is subject to UK data protection rules, we use an applicable adequacy arrangement or appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to standard contractual clauses, unless another lawful exception applies. You can contact us for information about relevant safeguards.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for a maximum of 10 years or only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including applicable accounting, tax, warranty, dispute and legal requirements. We periodically review enquiry and marketing records and remove or anonymise information we no longer need. We may retain a limited suppression record to ensure we respect an opt-out.
Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions and exceptions, you can ask us to:
give you access to your personal information;
correct inaccurate information;
delete information;
restrict or object to certain uses;
provide certain information in a portable format; or
withdraw consent where we rely on it. Withdrawal does not affect use that was lawful before you withdrew it.
You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. To make a request, email admin@orasmedical.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would welcome the chance to address your concern first.
Children
Our website, products and professional services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website.
