Building the Future of Point-of-Care Diagnostics
Oras Medical exists to improve clinical decision-making, patient outcomes, and healthcare efficiency through accessible medical technology.
Healthcare decisions shouldn’t be delayed, uncertain, or dependent on external access.
At Oras Medical, we are redefining how clinical decisions are made - by enabling healthcare providers to bring diagnostic capability directly to the point of care.
We work with care homes, community healthcare teams, NHS services, and private clinics to support faster, safer, and more confident decision-making where it matters most: at the bedside.
THE PROBLEM
Across healthcare systems, a critical gap exists.
Frontline clinicians are often required to make important decisions without immediate access to diagnostic tools or the training needed to use them effectively.
This leads to:
The issue is not a lack of care.
It is a lack of access - and a lack of adoption.

OUR APPROACH
A Solutions-First, Adoption-Led Approach
We believe medical technology should:
But more importantly...
Technology must be adopted, not just purchased.
That’s why Oras Medical combines:
We work closely with healthcare providers to understand their environment, workflows, and challenges - ensuring every solution is practical, relevant, and successfully embedded into daily care.

WHAT WE DO
More Than Devices
Oras Medical is not just a supplier of medical equipment. We are building a clinical ultrasound education and adoption platform.
Our focus includes:
Devices are only the starting point. Adoption is where impact happens.
WHO WE WORK WITH
We support healthcare providers across:
Our goal is to make advanced diagnostic capability accessible and usable at every level of care—not just specialist settings.
The Oras Medical Founder’s Story
From Personal Experience to System-Level Change
Oras Medical was shaped by both professional experience and personal reality.
After beginning a career in healthcare at 23, working with doctors in private hospitals, it became clear how clinical decisions are made - and where gaps exist.
But the turning point came from something much closer to home.
When my mum was in care, she was transferred to hospital multiple times each month. Each transfer was distressing - for her, for our family, and for the care team supporting her.
What made it harder was that many of those transfers were not ultimately necessary.
They were precautionary decisions - made because there was no access to immediate diagnostic tools at the bedside.
In the absence of certainty, the system defaults to escalation.
Often, that meant catheterisation. In her case, this was not always needed - and on several occasions, it led to infections such as UTIs, creating further complications and discomfort.
What became clear was this:
- The issue wasn’t a lack of care.
- It wasn’t a lack of effort.
It was a lack of access - and a lack of adoption.
- Access to simple diagnostic tools.
- Access to the training needed to use them confidently.

I firmly believe that if those capabilities had been available, many of those hospital transfers - and the complications that followed -could have been avoided.
That experience became the foundation of Oras Medical.
Not as a device company - but as a solution to a much larger problem.
