Building the Future of Point-of-Care Diagnostics

Oras Medical exists to improve clinical decision-making, patient outcomes, and healthcare efficiency through accessible medical technology.

Healthcare decisions shouldn’t be delayed, uncertain, or dependent on external access.

At Oras Medical, we are redefining how clinical decisions are made - by enabling healthcare providers to bring diagnostic capability directly to the point of care.

We work with care homes, community healthcare teams, NHS services, private clinics, and aesthetic & MSK practitioners to enable faster, safer, and more confident decision-making at the point of care.

The Problem

Across healthcare systems, a critical gap exists.

Frontline clinicians are often required to make important decisions without immediate access to diagnostic tools or the training needed to use them effectively.

This leads to:

  • Avoidable hospital admissions
  • Delayed or precautionary decision-making
  • Unnecessary procedures such as catheterisation
  • Increased patient discomfort and risk of complications
  • Additional pressure on already stretched healthcare systems

The issue is not a lack of care.

It is a lack of access - and a lack of adoption.

A Growing Challenge in Aesthetic Practice

In aesthetic medicine, a similar gap exists.

Practitioners are performing increasingly complex procedures without real-time visibility beneath the skin.

This creates:

  • Increased risk of complications (e.g. vascular occlusion)
  • Limited ability to assess anatomy before or during procedures
  • Reduced confidence when managing adverse events
  • Greater legal, reputational, and patient safety risks

As the industry grows, safety and precision are becoming non-negotiable.

OUR APPROACH

A Solutions-First, Adoption-Led Approach

We believe medical technology should:

  • Be easy to use, not burdensome
  • Support clinical judgement, not replace it
  • Improve patient comfort and safety
  • Deliver measurable, real-world value

But more importantly...

Technology must be adopted, not just purchased.

That’s why Oras Medical combines:

  • Portable diagnostic devices
  • Structured clinical training
  • Ongoing support and implementation guidance

We work closely with healthcare providers to understand their environment, workflows, and challenges - ensuring every solution is practical, relevant, and successfully embedded into daily care.

WHAT WE DO

More Than Devices

Oras Medical is not just a supplier of medical equipment. We are building a clinical ultrasound education and adoption platform.

Our focus includes:

  • Point-of-care diagnostic technologies
  • Non-invasive clinical assessment tools
  • Solutions that reduce infection risk and improve patient outcomes
  • Practical innovations designed for real-world clinical workflows

Devices are only the starting point. Adoption is where impact happens.

WHO WE WORK WITH

We support a wide range of healthcare and clinical professionals, including:

  • Care homes and nursing homes
  • Community healthcare teams and NHS services
  • Private clinics and outpatient providers
  • Aesthetic practitioners focused on safer procedures
  • MSK clinicians, physiotherapists, and sports practitioners

Our goal is to make advanced diagnostic capability accessible, usable, and trusted at every level of care - not just specialist settings.

Founder’s Story

Oras Medical was shaped by both professional experience and personal reality.

After beginning a career in healthcare at 23, working with doctors in private hospitals, it became clear how clinical decisions are made - and where critical gaps exist.

The turning point came closer to home.

When my mum was in care, she was transferred to hospital multiple times each month. Many of these transfers were distressing - and not always necessary.

They were precautionary decisions, made due to a lack of immediate diagnostic tools at the bedside.

In the absence of certainty, the system defaults to escalation.

Often, this led to unnecessary procedures such as catheterisation, which in some cases resulted in complications like infections.

What became clear was this:

The issue wasn’t a lack of care.
It was a lack of access — and a lack of adoption.

Access to the right tools.
Access to the training to use them confidently.

That experience became the foundation of Oras Medical — not as a device company, but as a solution to a much larger problem.
